Happy is a bigger boy, estimated around 65+ lbs, and his favourite thing in the world is LOVE. If he could crawl right under your clothes and stay glued to you, he probably would! 😅 He can be a very happy, enthusiastic boy and may hop around or jump when he’s excited. As he begins to feel safe and secure, he settles and his confidence grows. He’s definitely looking for his best hooman friend! ❤️
Happy gets along well with other dogs and dog-savvy cats. He loves relaxing on the deck and watching the world go by! ⛅️
He’s a smart boy who is already catching on to “sit” and “stay.” He free-roams the house with no issues and sleeps either in his foster’s room or on his dog bed in the living room.
Happy would do well with dog-savvy children who understand and respect boundaries. Because he is a bigger boy who can get very excited and “happy,” he may be best suited to children who are comfortable around bigger, enthusiastic dogs.
Happy is also a very affectionate boy. He absolutely loves his person and wants to be right there with them... sitting on you, cuddling you, hugging you and generally making sure he gets ALL the love! 😂💚 He can definitely want to be the star of the show, so if you have a resident dog, a meet and greet would be important to make sure everyone is comfortable with Happy’s larger-than-life personality and his desire to soak up the attention.
Happy is looking for someone who will give him the patience, reassurance, and time to build his confidence and truly feel safe. In return, you’ll get one incredibly sweet, affectionate and gentle big boy who just wants to be loved. 🥹💚
