"My name is Mr. Bojangles, but you can call me Bo.

I was born in March 2026, so I’m still just a young pup learning about the world, my name, and the fact that humans get very excited when I pee outside.

I’m affectionate, curious, and surprisingly calm for a puppy — but don’t let that fool you. I’m not delicate. I love to play, bounce around, wrestle a bit, and join in on some good puppy roughhousing. I’ve got a fun, confident little spirit and I’m very much ready to be part of the action.

I also love belly rubs, affection, and being close to my people. My foster dad says I have a steady nervous system, which I think means I can take in the world without getting too overwhelmed — even when there’s lots to explore.

I’m doing great with my harness and leash, and I’m very interested in people, kids, and other animals. I’m curious and social, but not reactive or over-the-top. I like to check things out, learn what’s going on, and then usually decide that everyone might be my friend.

House training is going really well too. I haven’t had an accident in almost two days, and my foster dad is very committed to helping me succeed. I’m also doing really well with crate training, which is helping me learn how to settle, rest, and feel comfortable in my own little space. My foster dad gets strangely proud when I do my business outside, but I let him have his moment.

I’m a Shepherd/Poodle cross, which probably means I’m smart, active, affectionate, and ready to learn. My foster dad has 25+ years of dog experience, and he thinks my calm confidence, playfulness, and intelligence will make me a really rewarding dog to train and bond with.

I’d likely do best with someone who wants to include me in life, give me regular exercise, play with me, teach me kindly, and offer both physical and mental stimulation. In return, I’ll bring affection, curiosity, loyalty, laughs, and the feeling that maybe you’re a pretty great dog trainer after all.

Could I be your Bo?"❤️❤️❤️

Willa's Ready to Stop Moving and Start Belonging ❤️

Willa is a sweet, deaf, small-to-medium-sized girl who is approximately 2 years old and looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can finally settle, build confidence, and feel safe.

Willa is a very loving dog in a very big world. Because she is deaf, she relies heavily on connection and seeks out her person for comfort, guidance, and affection. She does well on a leash and absolutely loves treats, making her eager to learn and easy to motivate.

Willa is currently being introduced to hand signals and basic sign language cues in her foster home and is picking them up beautifully as she adapts. She also attends daycare and gets along well with other dogs. While she enjoys canine companionship, it's important to understand that Willa's primary focus is her hooman. She thrives when she has a person she can bond with and look to for reassurance.❤️

Like many dogs who have experienced several transitions, Willa can show signs of anxiety in the home. This may look like spinning, scratching, or digging at blankets and bedding. Activities that engage her mind and nose, such as Kongs, sniff mats, enrichment toys, and structured stimulation, help redirect those behaviors and build her confidence. Willa needs both physical exercise and mental enrichment to help her feel fulfilled and secure.❤️

Since being surrendered, Willa has experienced a lot of changes that can be difficult for most dogs, and especially hard on a girl like her. Everyone involved has been working hard to support her through consistency, routine, and trust, with the goal of helping her feel safe again. What Willa needs most right now is stability...

- a place where she can settle, decompress, and learn that she is safe.
- She would benefit from an environment where she can rest, build confidence, establish a steady routine, and stay long enough for her personality to fully blossom.
- Fenced backyard

Her ideal foster-to-adopt home would be with someone who is home more often than not... perhaps someone who works from home or is retired. Having a consistent human presence will help her feel secure as she adjusts and learns her new routine. A calm, patient person who understands that confidence takes time to build would be exactly what Willa needs.🐾

Willa eats well overall and is very treat motivated. Occasionally she needs a little encouragement at mealtime, often preferring that her person stay nearby while she finishes her food.🍴

Everyone who meets Willa sees the wonderful dog waiting to emerge. Underneath her uncertainty is an incredibly sweet girl with so much love to give. She isn't asking for perfection... just patience, understanding, and someone willing to help her build confidence at her own pace. 🫶

She can't hear your voice, but she can feel your presence, your patience, and your love.💕 After so much change, Willa deserves the chance to finally belong.

If you can offer Willa the stability, kindness, and guidance she deserves, please reach out. Let's help this good girl find the home and the person🙌she's been waiting for.

Good Golly, Miss Molly!💐

This gal is ready for your applications! (Reminder: only the successful applicant is contacted, we don't have resources to reach out to everyone).

Molly is approximately 4 years old, 28 lbs and our best guess is she's a French Bulldog! Woof!

Molly is best suited to a home 🏠 where, if there are children, they are 10+ years old. She is good with other dogs and untested with cats.

Molly is a very affectionate girl once she gets comfortable with you. She will give you the full body wiggle and smile and let you pet her forever. Ohhhh - and the belly rubs - she lives for those!

She does warm up to people fairly quickly when given the opportunity to sniff them and has the support of someone she trusts.

She likes sunbeams ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ and sitting outside (unless it's raining or cold!). She loves her walks and doesn't have to go far - she likes to stop and observe as she goes!

She loves toys - she has a strong desire to chew bones and loves to pull apart stuffed animals! She even chases a ball every now and then.

She barks only when she looks out the window and someone is passing by. She will also bark if another dog barks. She is quick to stop 🛑 though.

Molly appears to have a sensitivity to chicken. 🐔
She is eating duck and lamb now and has stopped licking her paws. We highly recommend you keep her off chicken.

Molly came with a litter of 4 puppies (not yet ready for posting). She has been a fantastic mom to her litter. She has been the ultimate protector, fed them and played with them. She truly is such a lovebug. Definitely a velcro dog as the breed suggests!

🚨A note from her foster:
Molly is protective and can get upset with other dogs or humans if she feels they are threatening "her" person. We found that as long as the humans take a moment with Molly so she was sure they were safe, she was ok. As for other dogs, she is good with my dogs 99% of the time - there is just the odd moment that she gets upset with one of them. It is important to note that this behaviour may change when she is not protecting her puppies.

Cocco 🍫 is now accepting applications for FOREVER ♾️

🌸Female
🌸Age: Estimated to be about 4 years old (as per owner surrender details)
🌸Breed Best Guess: Chihuahua Mix
📍 Sherwood Park
✅Good with dogs

❓Has been around children a bit and ignored them, so may be okay in a house with children.

She’s got personality, Cocco is a sweet little diva looking for her perfect throne home. She’s outgoing of and absolutely loves attention, pets, and being close to her people.

One of her cutest quirks is the adorable little sound she makes when she shakes — thanks to her tiny tongue that’s always hanging out. It’s impossible not to smile around her. 🥰

🪻 Meet Violet
📍 Camrose, Alberta
🐾 5 Years Old
🐶 Shih Tzu
⚖️ 12.5 lbs
💕 Small in size, huge in heart

Violet is a gentle little sweetheart who wants so badly to love her people, even while the world still feels a bit scary to her. She’ll greet you with the happiest tail wags and the softest, most loving eyes every time you walk through the door.

Her Personality:

Violet is calm, quiet, and happiest in a peaceful home. While she’s still learning to fully trust people, she’s making wonderful progress every day. She is crate trained, but her favorite place to sleep is on a cozy pillow close to her people.

Many parts of pet life are still new to her — leashes and walks can feel overwhelming right now — but with patience, reassurance, and gentle encouragement, she continues to grow more confident.

Violet is doing very well with housetraining, though she may have accidents if her bathroom cues are missed. She feels most confident going outside with another dog and often looks to canine friends for guidance and reassurance.

Being left alone can be stressful for Violet, especially if confined in an x-pen. She would thrive in a home where someone is around much of the time to help her feel safe and secure. Another calm, friendly dog would also be a wonderful match, as she learns so much from other pups.

What Violet Is Looking For:

🏡 A calm, patient, understanding home
🐕 A friendly dog companion would be a wonderful fit
👦 Best suited for older teens and adults (young children are untested)
🐱 Cats are unknown, so slow and thoughtful introductions would be needed
🫶 Someone who understands that trust takes time — and that Violet is worth every moment

Violet may be shy and uncertain at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the most loyal, loving little companion for both her people and her dog friends. 💜

Willie - Now Accepting Applications ❤️

Mr. Willie is just a young buck, it's estimated that he was born in early March 2026

📍Located: East Edmonton

Good with Dogs❓YES!
Wee Willie would thrive with another playful, well behaved dog (it would be beneficial if he is modelled good behaviour to be the best boy😉)

Good with Cats ❓ Untested

Good with Kids❓
He has met several kids and is very happy in their presence, but he is a typical puppy who is learning not to nip when playing. He can get overexcited very quickly and for this reason we would recommend older children only. We are working on redirection with a toy to help mitigate his ‘bitey’ tendencies! We don’t call him Wild Willie for nothing🤣

Size: 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
15 lbs at intake.
Will be larger sized dog in adulthood.
We're not too sure what his breed mix is.

🐶Willie is an incredibly energetic boy who is constantly looking for something fun to do! If appropriate activities are not provided, he makes up his OWN games - not always approved by his humans!
🐶He loves to play with toys of all kinds and is always up for a good game of fetch.
🐶He is very food motivated and is keen to learn, which makes training is easy!
🐶When his days are full of adventures, physical and mental stimulation, this dog sleeps like a log; in a crate beside our bed.
🐶Potty training is going well. There are still accidents, but when he is provided routine, frequent opportunities to void outside, they are few and far between.
🐶He has been walking extremely well on a leash with a harness.
🐶He is currently learning the skills needed to be successful in the off leash environment…and he’s crushing it!

Willie has huge potential to be an AMAZING life partner for some lucky person/family who is ready to implement consistent, structured, force-free training principles to help him grow up happy and confident. He is a typical terrier puppy who has lots of tenacity and a bit of a stubborn streak! Patience and love is a must💕

Willie is neutered, microchipped, de-wormed and first set of vaccines have been given.

🌸 Meet Emma 🌼

Emma is a tiny, itty-bitty little girl believed to be a Shih Tzu mix 💛 She weighs just 8.5 pounds and her approximate age is estimated to be between 3–5 years old. Emma is currently located south of Edmonton and is looking for her forever home 🏡✨

Emma is still very shy and timid, but every single day she is making gradual progress 🌷 She trusts the animals in her foster home completely, though humans are still something she’s learning to feel safe around. Right now, picking her up or reaching for her is a no-go... everything with Emma must happen on her terms, and her future family will need to understand and respect that as she continues to come out of her shell 🌼

Despite her timid nature, Emma is incredibly gentle and sweet 💕 In the evenings, when everyone settles down to watch a TV program, she’ll quietly come and snuggle beside her partner in crime, Penelope 🐾💕 Wherever Penelope goes, Emma follows. Penelope has become her comfort, her confidence, and her guide, and Emma is learning so much from her 🌸

Because of this, Emma would do best in a home with a calm, confident small or medium-sized dog who can continue to show her the ropes and help her build trust and confidence 🌻 She gets along wonderfully with all the little dogs in her foster home. She has not been tested with cats, but based on her soft demeanor, we don’t anticipate a problem 🐱💛

Emma is still working on house training and is not kennel trained. We suspect she may have come from a breeding situation, so kennels may bring up fear or uncertainty for her 🌷 She much prefers curling up beside another dog on a cozy bed, the couch, or wherever her trusted companion chooses to sleep 🛋️💕

She’s a little picky with food, though we suspect we just haven’t found her favorite yet 🍯✨ Emma can also be adorably vocal at times... especially when breakfast is involved 🌞 or when “stranger danger” alerts need to be announced 💛 Otherwise, she is quiet, soft, and incredibly gentle in spirit 🌸

We are committed to taking our time finding the perfect fit for this special girl 🌼 Emma’s journey will require patience, understanding, and kindness. But for the person willing to let her bloom at her own pace 🌷 the reward will be immeasurable. Dogs like Emma form the deepest bonds 💕 Once she chooses you, she’ll become your loyal little shadow, your best friend, and a heart dog in every sense of the word ✨🐾

If you feel you may be the right fit for Emma and would like to learn more, please fill out an adoption application 🌸 Emma would love to meet you 💛🐾
