Pebbles
Cute as can be and ready for her Foster to Adopt Family 💗 - Pebbles!
Pebbles came to us surrendered with her siblings from Manitoba when fires forced an evacuation.
Pebbles is...
Age: 7-8 weeks old
Breed best guess: Labrador Retriever Mix
📍Located: Bonnie Doon, Edmonton
Approximate Size: 10 lbs right now, will likely be a medium to large sized dog in adulthood.
✅Good with kids? Unknown, but given her calm nature, should be fine.
✅Good with Dogs? Yes, Pebbles and her puppy sibling enjoy playing with each other and their large foster brother.
❓Good with Cats? Unknown
Other Details from Foster:
Pebbles is more shy but she is gaining confidence.
Not a big chewer for a puppy and she doesn't really bite my hands or chew on furniture inside, outside however she does love to forage and chew on sticks, grass, mud and pinecones.
Currently sleeps in the crate all night and will nap in the crate after play and cuddles, until sleepy.
Sometimes they both Pebbles and her sibling Bammbamm need cuddles and rocking to calm down and nap, they’re like little babies. They can be quite vocal but once they are held calm down immediately.
Doing well with housetraining and will pee/poop immediately when put down on the grass, however they drink lots of water so need to be taken out quite frequently to avoid accidents.

Betty
Our next resident of Bedrock 🪨🪨🪨... Labrador Retriever Mix Pupper...
🐾 Meet Betty!
Breed: Lab Cross (best guess), brindle coat
Age: Approx. 8 weeks
Size: Expected medium to large
📍Location: Leduc
Betty is a sweet, gentle soul with a thoughtful and cautious nature. She’s often seen trailing just behind her brother Barney, letting him scout things out before she joins in. She carries herself like a little lady — observant, calm, and affectionate in her own quiet way.
While she’s tested her voice a few times, Betty isn’t quite sure if it’s something she wants to use for attention just yet.
She’s doing wonderfully with crate training, especially overnight with no accidents, and is currently living peacefully with young kids and a large adult dog.
Like most puppies, she’s still learning that jumping and nipping aren’t polite ways to play, but she responds well to gentle redirection. Betty would thrive in a home that offers love, patience, and a bit of guidance as she continues to grow into her lovely personality.

Barney
Last of the Labrador Retriever Mixes...down from the town of Bedrock (and the only male of the litter) 🪨 🪨 🪨...

Barney is a bold little adventurer with a big personality! This social butterfly loves nothing more than romping around with his sister, chasing toys, and exploring his surroundings. When the excitement winds down, Barney is all about cuddles and curling up with his humans for some well-earned snuggles.
He’s recently discovered his voice and isn’t shy about using it — especially when things aren’t quite going his way!

Sonny
Hi! 🐶
My name’s Sonny - like the sun! But my foster mom calls me all sorts of nicknames like Sonny Day, Sunshine, and Sonny Boy ☀️ (I think she really likes me!).
🌞🌞🌞
I don’t remember much about before I came here - everything was big and new and kinda confusing. I was teeny tiny (just 3 pounds!) when I arrived.
I’ve grown a little since then - now I’m a whopping 6 pounds!
No one’s really sure how big I’ll get, but I promise I’ll always be lots of fun no matter if I end up small, medium, or even large! 🥰
I live with three HUGE doggies right now (they’re like giants!), and they’ve been teaching me how to dog.
I’m learning how to play nice and have good manners, especially with how I use my teeth 🦷 . My foster parents say they are SHARP, but I’m learning to be gentle, I swear!
I’d really love a forever home with another pup who can keep showing me the canine ropes so I can grow up to be my best self.
🎵🎶Do you like music? I do!
🧸I also love toys. I’m a playful little bean - chase & tug are my fave. I even like playing by myself sometimes too, especially when I’m winding down for a snooze.
Speaking of snoozin’, I’m also an A+ sleeper! I sleep through the night in my playpen as long as I’ve got a pee pad handy.
I’m not fully house trained yet, but I’ll do my business outside if you take me out often. I’m trying my best, promise!
Can’t wait to meet my forever family! 🐾
Love,
Sonny ☀️

Winks
Meet Winks – the tiniest little survivor with the biggest heart. 💛💛
This sweet soul goes by Winks (or Winky, if you’re feeling extra affectionate). We’re not entirely sure of his age – maybe 5, maybe 10 – but what we do know is that this tiny 5-pound poodle mix is full of quiet charm and resilience.
Winks came to us unsure of the world. At first, he would dart to his kennel for safety, unsure of people or his surroundings. But day by day, he’s slowly blossoming. Now he naps peacefully on a dog bed, takes cautious steps outside, and shows us his quirky little ways. For example, when he’s hungry, he’ll hit his dish and bark to let you know it’s time to eat!
Winks isn’t much for stairs yet, but he’s learned to handle the little steps outside like a champ. He’s not a cuddler (at least not yet), but he loves being around people and is slowly learning that humans can be kind. He’s been around kids (he was totally fine with our grandson) and ignores other dogs and cats – he just quietly keeps to himself. If a cat walks by, he heads to his kennel and waits for the coast to clear.
He recently had a dental, lost a few teeth, and is now enjoying wet food only. He also just got neutered and has stopped lifting his leg indoors – a huge milestone for this little guy.
One of Winks’ most endearing quirks? He can’t fall asleep without his nose buried in a cozy blanket. 🥺 He’s also got a little friend, Wiggles – he doesn’t cuddle or play with him, but he likes to know he’s close. It seems to help him feel safe.
Winks may never be the dog that runs up for hugs, but he’s learning to trust. He’s the kind of companion who will quietly follow you around, settle near you while you work or relax, and remind you every day that healing takes time – and love.
📍 Located in Millwoods
💖 5 lbs of gentle soul
🐾 Doing amazing with potty training (as long as you’re around!)
🐶 Good with calm dogs, fine with kids, avoids cats
💤 Needs a warm blanket to tuck his little nose into every night
If you have room in your heart for a tiny, brave little boy who just wants to feel safe and loved, Winks might be the one for you.

Wiggles
Meet Wiggles – a little lionheart with a big voice and even bigger spirit! 🧡🧡
Details from her Foster Mama:
Wiggles is a senior gal with a spark in her soul. We’ve heard she’s anywhere from 10 to 14 years old — age may be just a number, but hers comes with wisdom, sass, and resilience.
She’s been through a lot — recently had several teeth removed and underwent surgery to remove some mammary glands — yet she carries herself with grace and grit.
Wiggles may be small in size, but she’s not afraid to speak her mind. She’ll let you know when she’s hungry, pacing and giving a few barks to make sure her needs are heard.
She’s brave, bold, and knows what she wants.
And even though she’s not the cuddly type (yet), she loves being near her person — especially curled up in the chair beside you, or snoozing faithfully at your bedside. Given the choice, she’d probably prefer to be up in bed with you.
She does not like the kennel — that’s not her safe place — but she’s comfortable and calm in a cozy spot nearby.

Kya
Meet Kya – Our Sweet 14-Year-Young Affenpinscher!
📍 Location: Edmonton
🐾 Breed: Affenpinscher (originally thought to be a Poodle/Shih Tzu mix, but a fellow Affenpinscher owner confirmed her true identity!)
⚖️ Weight: 7.5 lbs
Kya is a tiny, gentle soul. At 14 years young, she’s a low-key companion looking for a calm, loving home where she can live out her golden years in comfort and peace.
She’s great with other dogs—especially fellow seniors who enjoy a relaxed pace of life. She’ll politely set her boundaries and get along just fine with respectful canine companions. Kya would do best in an adult-only home or with older kids who understand she prefers her space. No young children, please.
Health & Care:
Kya is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and recently had dental work done—she’s only got two teeth left, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! She enjoys her wet food just fine and still gets a little pep in her step when it’s mealtime.
Personality & Preferences:
Kya isn’t a lap dog or cuddler, but she does enjoy being near her people and will follow you around or settle close by. She’ll greet you with a happy little dance when you come home and another when it’s time to eat! She’s house trained, sleeps through the night, and in fact, really loves her sleep—you’ll likely need to wake her up in the morning.
She has cataracts in both eyes but gets around impressively well. She can do stairs and navigates obstacles with no problem. Her favourite pastime? Nestling into her cozy bed and scratching her blankets just right to make the perfect sleeping spot.
If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion who enjoys the simple things—soft beds, peaceful days, and your company—Kya might be your perfect match.

Maggy
Anyone looking for a sweet, sweet senior gal to give a warm home to for her retirement years!?!
Maggy is awaiting a quiet place to call her own.
Maggy is...
Age : 12-14 years
Breed best guess: Yorkie
📍Location : Edmonton
Size: 5 lbs
❓Good with kids? Best with older children that know to move a bit slower around this old gal
✔️Good with Dogs? Older or calmer dogs
✔️Good with Cats? Yes, previously lived with cats.
Other details about Maggy:
🕶️Maggy may be a senior but don’t let that fool you. She is a Yorkie and is still living her best life with class and just the right amount of SASS!
She is basically blind but can sense light and once she adapts to her surroundings, she can get around no problem. She's is going deaf, but does know her name if you call it, will alert you if she hears someone knocking at the door and will follow sound if you move somewhere else in the house. She would love another companion in the home to follow around. This will help her find her water bowl, comfy spots to lay down and of course, where the fridge is so that the cheese tax can be paid.
She is pee pad trained, but prefers to go outside. She has some accidents in the house (not many) and may at first mark until she knows her surroundings a bit better and has a routine.
🦷🦷She doesn't have any teeth so her tongue hangs out to the right. She is eating wet adult food and can eat some kibble as well if softened. She would absolutely prefer you to cook her homemade dog food (chicken seems to be her fav)
🛌Loves to curl up in fuzzy beds and blankets to sleep.
🧗♀️She is a climber so if she's ever not in your line of sight but barking at you it's because she can't get down from what she climbed up on. She also has trouble with stairs because she honestly can't see them. She would be ideal in a home without steps (or very few) or even an apartment.
She does like to be held and cuddled and will tell you when she's done. She can sleep in a crate at night and is not an early bird. She is happy to sleep in and when she wakes up she will demand lots of tummy rubs and scratches.
🚗🌲🌳She likes to go outside to wander around on the leash, lay in the sun and go for car rides.

Patrick
Hey, hey there.. my name is Patrick!
My foster family describes me as a happy-go-lucky and optimistic boy seeking a forever family.
As a Boston Terrier and Pug mix, I am a lively and enthusiastic individual who loves to indulge in life's pleasures. My interests include snuggling, running, and enjoying good food. Sometimes I'm sneaking my foster sisters food when she's not looking hehehe... 💙💙
I do jump really high, I'm fantastic at guarding the home of any 'stranger danger' and I will require more work on my harness with walking. 💙

Charlie
Charlie here! I sure would LOVE a foster to adopt home!
Charlie is...
Male
Waiting for his appointment for neuter.
Age: 2 years
🚩Location: Edmonton
Best guess breed: Havanese Mix
More from his foster family:
He loves playing with other dogs. He is great with small to medium dogs and hasn't been around large dogs.
He has no food aggression and loves treats. Once you earn his trust, he will take them from your hand.
Charlie is a very people-shy dog. He will run away if you go near him and it will take time to earn his love 💕 and trust. It's not specific to men or women.
He's very happy when playing with other dogs, sharing toys even. He wags his tags with joy. He is just waiting patiently for his furever family to come find him and love him forever. He deserves it.
Charlie is mainly housebroken. Once neutered, his marking should subside.
He loves being outside and will happily do his business outdoors if given the opportunity.
He truly is a precious little guy.
🚩Vetting will need to take place in Southwest Edmonton.
