Spot
See Spot Run!
Right into your heart ❤️
Spot is ready to accept applications. He's also popping into our events on Saturday at Pet Valu Victoria Trail from 1-4 PM!
Age: Approximately just over a year old.
Breed Best Guess: Lhaso Also/Shitzu Mix
📍Location: Downtown Edmonton
He's about 10 lbs in weight
More from his Foster Mama:
Good with kids❓ Untested but seems absolutely enthralled with the daycare attached to my building and could spend hours watching them with his tail a wagging!
Good with dogs❓ Unknown seems excited to see dogs but never has had an introduction (will have one in the form of a meet and greet at my work when his stitches are healed).
Good with cats ❓Yes, with dog-savvy cats (good with my own cat 😸)
Spot's Personality & Progress in Foster Care:
Spot has a bouncy, wholesome energy. ❤️
He loves being around his Foster Mama, follows her everywhere! Has been friendly with other humans.
He is very social and would do well with an active/family home.
Housetraining is a work in progress. He came from an outdoor environment before foster care and he's improved and has stopped marking as much, but still has some work to do in this department. It's something his adoptive home will need to continue to work on with him.
He is full of love and energy but will snuggle and sleep when his foster Mama is in bed.
He is crated and will whine for 5-10 minutes before he settles.
He is free fed right now, nibbles here and there.
While on walks he does a cute little prance and sprint, then stops and waits for you to catch up and repeats his prance.
Spot loves everything, he is just so positive, brave and sweet. ❤️

Scout
Meet Scout! This adorable 10-week-old Lab mix puppy is searching for his forever family!
He is incredibly sweet, smart, and eager to learn. In a short time, he has already mastered the sitting cue and confidently goes up and down the stairs.
This little guy loves other dogs 🐕🦺 and enjoys playing, running around, and then settling in for cuddles.
He is doing wonderfully with his house training and is learning quickly with treats and praise. 💫

Willa
Willa's Ready to Stop Moving and Start Belonging ❤️
Willa is a sweet, deaf, small-to-medium-sized girl who is approximately 2 years old and looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can finally settle, build confidence, and feel safe.
Willa is a very loving dog in a very big world. Because she is deaf, she relies heavily on connection and seeks out her person for comfort, guidance, and affection. She does well on a leash and absolutely loves treats, making her eager to learn and easy to motivate.
Willa is currently being introduced to hand signals and basic sign language cues in her foster home and is picking them up beautifully as she adapts. She also attends daycare and gets along well with other dogs. While she enjoys canine companionship, it's important to understand that Willa's primary focus is her hooman. She thrives when she has a person she can bond with and look to for reassurance.❤️
Like many dogs who have experienced several transitions, Willa can show signs of anxiety in the home. This may look like spinning, scratching, or digging at blankets and bedding. Activities that engage her mind and nose, such as Kongs, sniff mats, enrichment toys, and structured stimulation, help redirect those behaviors and build her confidence. Willa needs both physical exercise and mental enrichment to help her feel fulfilled and secure.❤️
Since being surrendered, Willa has experienced a lot of changes that can be difficult for most dogs, and especially hard on a girl like her. Everyone involved has been working hard to support her through consistency, routine, and trust, with the goal of helping her feel safe again. What Willa needs most right now is stability...
- a place where she can settle, decompress, and learn that she is safe.
- She would benefit from an environment where she can rest, build confidence, establish a steady routine, and stay long enough for her personality to fully blossom.
- Fenced backyard
Her ideal foster-to-adopt home would be with someone who is home more often than not... perhaps someone who works from home or is retired. Having a consistent human presence will help her feel secure as she adjusts and learns her new routine. A calm, patient person who understands that confidence takes time to build would be exactly what Willa needs.🐾
Willa eats well overall and is very treat motivated. Occasionally she needs a little encouragement at mealtime, often preferring that her person stay nearby while she finishes her food.🍴
Everyone who meets Willa sees the wonderful dog waiting to emerge. Underneath her uncertainty is an incredibly sweet girl with so much love to give. She isn't asking for perfection... just patience, understanding, and someone willing to help her build confidence at her own pace. 🫶
She can't hear your voice, but she can feel your presence, your patience, and your love.💕 After so much change, Willa deserves the chance to finally belong.
If you can offer Willa the stability, kindness, and guidance she deserves, please reach out. Let's help this good girl find the home and the person🙌she's been waiting for.
❤️ Could that be you?

Cocco
Cocco 🍫 is now accepting applications for FOREVER ♾️
🌸Female
🌸Age: Estimated to be about 4 years old (as per owner surrender details)
🌸Breed Best Guess: Chihuahua Mix
📍 Sherwood Park
✅Good with dogs
❓ Untested with Cats 🐈
❓Has been around children a bit and ignored them, so may be okay in a house with children.
She’s got personality, Cocco is a sweet little diva looking for her perfect throne home. She’s outgoing of and absolutely loves attention, pets, and being close to her people.
One of her cutest quirks is the adorable little sound she makes when she shakes — thanks to her tiny tongue that’s always hanging out. It’s impossible not to smile around her. 🥰
Cocco is doing well on her current diet journey and has quickly figured out that warm, soaked kibble hand-fed with love is the preferred dining experience. As any proper princess would expect. 👸👑👸
She walks nicely on leash, rides great in the car, and so far has shown no reactivity toward other dogs or people. She’s pee pad trained and loves joining her humans for little adventures or cuddling nearby.
Cocco is affectionate, calm, funny, and full of charm — the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart.

Rocco
Meet Rocco 🤍
Rocco is a soft, gentle little soul who is looking for a patient and loving forever home to help bring out his beautiful personality.
At ~5 years young, this sweet boy ♂️ may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, he melts right into your heart — and often right into your arms.
When he gets nervous, especially in places like the vet, he buries his head into you for comfort. He’s incredibly affectionate and clearly just wants to feel safe and loved. ❤️
Rocco is currently on a special diet while they work to figure out his allergies, and he’s doing wonderfully.
He has developed a taste for warm, soaked kibble served by hand — because he is also very much a diva deserving of a throne home.
He’s amazingly soft, loves going for walks, enjoys playing, rides well in the car, and has shown no reactivity toward other dogs 🐕 or people so far.
He is relatively pee pad trained, though he is still working on some marking behaviors, and a belly band is currently being trialed to help him succeed.
Rocco is the kind of dog who bonds deeply. Sweet, sensitive, and loving, he’s just waiting for someone to show him the world is safe.
✅Kids - He's been around children and has ignored them for the most part.
❓Cats - Untested with cats.
✅Dogs - good!
🏋️♀️Size: Fully Grown - Weighs 5.8 K.g., he's on a diet at the moment

Willie
Willie
Age: Est D.O.B Early March 2026
Breed: Best guess Sheppard mix
Size: Will be large
Located: East Edmonton
Willie is neutered, microchipped, de wormed and first set of vaccines have been given
Good with Dogs? YES! Wee Willie would thrive with another playful, well behaved dog (it would be beneficial if he is modelled GOOD behaviour to be the best boy😉)
Good with Cats? Has had controlled exposure to cats and was interested but not predatory. With slow introductions, there is a good chance Willie could live happily with a cat.
Good with Kids? He has met several kids and is very happy in their presence, but he is a typical puppy who is learning not to nip when playing. He can get overexcited very quickly and for this reason we would recommend older children only. We are working on redirection with a toy to help mitigate his ‘bitey’ tendencies! We don’t call him Wild Willie for nothing🤣
🐶Willie is an incredibly energetic boy who is constantly looking for something fun to do! If appropriate activities are not provided, he makes up his OWN games - not always approved by his humans!
🐶He loves to play with toys of all kinds and is always up for a good game of fetch.
🐶He is very food motivated and is keen to learn, which makes training is easy!
🐶When his days are full of adventures, physical and mental stimulation, this dog sleeps like a log; in a crate beside our bed.
🐶 I consider Willie to be completely potty trained, however, I am at home all day with him so he never has to ‘hold it’ for long! It is normal to expect a few accidents when he is getting used to a new home and routine.
🐶He walks well on a leash, but loves to stop and sniff along the way so walks are not always about physical fitness as much as taking in all the information provided in scents!
🐶He has very good recall and goes on daily off leash hikes through the river valley, which he LOVES.
Willie has huge potential to be an AMAZING life partner for some lucky person/family who is ready to implement consistent, structured, force - free training principles to continue helping him grow up happy and confident. He is an adorable pup who has lots of tenacity and a bit of a stubborn streak! Patience and kindness are a must💕
