Skin allergies. Because he has plenty of folds, he’s prone to having yeast which can get super itchy. He will need periodic medicated baths to help control the build-up. He is currently on single protein food and anti-itch meds to help reduce his skin inflammation.

Wilbert is a very kind and loving dog who would fit in with a family that gives him lots of attention, cuddles, and care. He is a big homebody and would do best with someone who is at home most of the time.

He is house-trained, chill in the car, and good on a leash. He loves to sleep (up to 18 hours!), go on walks and be near his people. An extremely sweet boy who’s always up for a snuggle.

The funniest part about Wilbert is if you talk to him, he’ll respond back by howling!

He is an amazing fella who truly deserves a family that will provide endless love ❤️ If you need a loyal companion, Wilbert is the one!

Wilbert would do best in a house rather than an apartment or condo. As a Basset Hound, he likes to "talk" now and then, and he isn't shy about sharing his opinions! 🥰
