Simon’s favorite thing in the world is being petted, and he’ll gently nudge his nose under your hand to ask for attention. As you scratch his head, he'll look up at you with the sweetest, most loving eyes—it's truly heart-melting!

This little guy is calm and quiet, with only a couple of soft "woofs" so far. Even when other dogs are barking up a storm, Simon stays out of the drama.
As for quirks, Simon loves affection but isn’t a fan of being picked up just yet. He’s also not too keen on crates or harnesses. He’s not aggressive, though—if he feels scared, he’ll just tuck his tail, get low, and freeze. Poor Simon!😢
He’s made progress with crate training, but it's clear it makes him anxious. He’ll howl for a bit at bedtime, then settle down. We think he'd do just fine roaming free when left alone once he’s adjusted to his new home.

Simon is a bit of a picky eater, though it seems more about nerves than taste. Sudden movements can make him jump back from his bowl, but he’s getting braver. He even takes treats from our hands now—something he was too nervous to do at first!

Simon does have some separation anxiety and will cry if he can’t be with his person, but he’s improving every day. He’s fine with older kids, and we think he’d do well in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace.
