Fufu
"My name is Fufu and I'm FUN FUN!
If you're looking for a tiny bundle of energy, I'm your gal!" - Fufu
Fufu is 10 weeks old approximately.
Our best guess is that she is a Pomeranian and Chihuahua Mix .
📍Location: Capilano area of Edmonton
Size - Small (currently 5 lbs)
What her Foster Says About her:
❓Untested with young kids.
She is a typical puppy who moves fast and loves to bite on everything (ankles included), so some caution there. Good with older kids who can manage puppy-shark teeth.
✅Good with Dogs? Yes.
She's great with our two small, older dogs. She would love to play with them but respects their boundaries. I would not put her with a large dog with high prey drive because I think she would be too tempting!
✅Good with Cats?
She's figuring it out with our cat. Probably okay with a dog-savvy cat.
This little fluff-ball of dynamite is ready to love the whole world!
She is absolutely adorable, with her fluffy white and black fur, and she is as confident as she is cute.
She has no hesitation to love 💕 any human or creature she meets.
She loves the other animals in our house, and explored the backyard as if she's lived here her whole short life. She loves being outside and even loves the snow!
🚽🪠She is doing most of her business outside, but because she is so young, she needs frequent potty breaks and will still have the odd accident inside.
Despite her small size, she can bound up the stairs no problem. Going down is a little trickier but she's up for trying!
A typical puppy, she is all shark-teeth, so we just keep redirecting her to a toy instead of our hands (or ankles!).
She loves toys--squeaky toys, cardboard, sticks, balls to fetch, and anything she can play tug with.
She will bark at new objects until she investigates them up close, and also will bark at our dogs and cat to try to get them to play.
I have been leaving her in her crate for quiet-time, when I leave the house and at night time and she's doing great learning to settle in her safe space.
Sometimes she will bark and whine, but usually she settles quite quickly.
She sleeps 💤 through the night without a peep.
She's not super food motived--her love languages are affection and toys.
It's hard not to want to pack her around all day long because she's so small and cuddly. She's going to make someone an amazing little pet with the right training and patience!
❗❗Medical Disclosure:❗❗
Fufu has been diagnosed with a significant Class II malocclusion with base narrow mandibular canine teeth. At this time, the condition is not resulting in trauma to the hard palate or surrounding oral structures, and no corrective treatment is indicated immediately.
Due to Fufu’s young age and ongoing growth, this condition will require close monitoring as her jaw develops and permanent dentition erupts. There is a potential that veterinary dental intervention may be recommended prior to or during the eruption of adult teeth to prevent trauma or malocclusion-related complications.
Continued monitoring and any future diagnostics or treatment related to this condition will be the responsibility of the adoptive owner(s).
