Bubba is incredibly shy, but once he trusts you, you'll have a quiet, devoted shadow who follows you around everywhere. He’s learning to feel safe around others, though new people still make him nervous. Family members in the home can now walk by him without sending him into a dash, but Bubba needs a patient hand to pet him gently and slowly.

Bubba is the ultimate quiet companion—he rarely barks and prefers to watch the world go by from a distance. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance buddy who’s happy just being near you, Bubba is your guy. He loves hanging out in his x-pen, which is his safe space, and sleeps peacefully upstairs with his foster at night.

He’s still working on housetraining and feels more comfortable using a pee pad for now, so his new family will need to offer understanding and consistency as he learns to venture outside. Bubba is also a picky eater—plain chicken and ground beef are his favorites, but he’ll need some encouragement to explore other foods.
Bubba had such extreme dental disease that all of his teeth were extracted 😢
This sweet boy may not have shown much of his personality yet, but with a loving, patient home, we’re sure Bubba will blossom into the dog he’s meant to be.
