Little Lydia Needs Our Help
Lydia has a cancerous tumor on her front left leg that must be removed. It's been left to grow so long that now the only option is amputation. This isn't a simple procedure... it’s a major surgery for a little girl, and the cost is SIGNIFICANT.
We’re asking for your support to help give Lydia the care she URGENTLY needs so she can live comfortably, happily, and without pain.
Lydia came to us from North Battleford after a long transport with a vehicle full of dogs rescued from difficult situations. Despite everything she’s been through, Lydia has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and happy.

She’s an older girl, but she still deserves every chance at a brighter future. We may never know what her life was like before she came into our care, but we can decide what comes next for her. Together, we can make sure her story moving forward is filled with comfort, dignity, and love.

Through Your Pets Eyes Rescue is a non profit animal rescue organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats in the Edmonton and Central Alberta Region.

Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate unwanted, stray, mistreated, distressed dogs and cats. To ensure healthy animal-human relationships through education and advocacy of up to date scientific and humane treatment of animals. We are proudly force free and have vetted wonderful force free fosters, volunteers, and adopters.

We aspire to have compassion for all and improve the relationship between human - animal and help achieve a world without exploitation.

We avoid shaming, rather we gently council those who are willing to further understand the meaning and importance of force free.
