2 weeks ago, he was the dog that was removed from the vehicle still in a crate.
Inside the crate was a piece of stale pizza crust.
No blanket, no water, just a discarded piece of food.
How long was he in that crate?
From the crate he stayed terrified for 10 days..
he would move around slightly at night, barely eating and drinking, started hanging out on the couch just watching as his fosters went on about their day.
And then it’s like a switch was turn on!
He started greeting his fosters at the door, he’s now eating twice a day, playing, snuggle on the couch, sleeps in bed and has become his foster mom shadow!
They have renamed him Chicko! 💙
He will need time to adjust to new surroundings, he’s great with other dogs and has shown interest towards the cats in his foster home.
We would not recommend any younger kids.
