Hotch

😍SPECIAL HOME NEEDED
This is Hotch, a 3 1/2-month-old orange tabby with a big personality and an even bigger appetite for life!
🐾
Hotch has a condition called Megaesophagus, which means his esophagus doesn’t move food to his stomach in the usual way. But don’t let that scare you! With some simple adjustments, this playful boy is thriving and ready to find his forever family
🥰
Hotch’s Needs:
• Raised feeding bowls and small, frequent, high-calorie meals (4-5 times a day).
• He eats standing up and prefers wet food, so there’s no need to experiment with kibble. But can try some as that helps clean teeth!
• It’s advised to hold him upright for about 10 minutes after meals, though Hotch is often too excited to play and squirms away—and honestly, it doesn’t seem to affect him much!
• Be mindful that Hotch is a bit of a food thief! You’ll need to monitor him closely to ensure he doesn’t sneak into other pets’ food.
😆
Personality:
Hotch is full of spunk and incredibly vocal when it’s snack time. He loves dogs, other cats, and even kids, making him a wonderful companion for any household. Aside from his tiny stature and feeding routine, you’d never guess there’s anything unique about him. He’s playful, loving, and absolutely ready to bring joy to the right home!
🐈
Please Note: He may have complications as he ages, no one is quite sure, also life expectancy isn’t always as great but many with this condition live happy healthy lives with management.
If you’re willing to take a little extra care,
Hotch will reward you with endless love and plenty of kitten antics😉
